PostSubject: Memory test   Mon May 10, 2010 2:41 pm

I've got a respond from the Support because of the BlueScreen on my computer. But anyone know how to run a Mem test? He told me that it could be an incompleto / uncompleted / defect memory.
Anyone of you got knowledge to this problem`?

Martin!

I don't understand what the problem is... you mean that the problem of Bluescreen is in your RAM memory? Question Exclamation

The support guy think that it's the RAM (Memory) is the problem, and told me to check it...

A good way to check if the problem is the RAM is putting an old RAM card in your PC (I mean the RAM you had in an old PC, which worked). That's what I do when something doesn't work in my PC, for example, if my screen doesn't work, I put the graphics card I still have from my old PC to know if the problem is from the graphics card or the screen. Do you understand what I mean? Surprised

No, I think I found the problem! It's the cooling system. I've opened up the pc, and have the cooling system free for air now. No BlueScreen yet.

Yes it may be that too...If your pc is too hot it suddenly turns off.

It only happend when I ran games who used a lot of the capacity from the pc, that's why I think we found the problem.
